Chief Scientific Officer
Chris is Chief Scientific Officer at Unfolded, where he helps shape the design and development of the company’s products.
Chris brings more than two decades of experience across bioscience, healthcare intelligence and product development. Prior to Unfolded, he was VP of Product Development, Global Insights at IQVIA, following senior roles as Global Director of Consulting at Datamonitor and at L.E.K. Consulting. He began his career as a Principal Scientist at Inpharmatica (now part of Galapagos), where he worked alongside Phil on the discovery and patenting of more than 100 candidate drug targets.
Chief Technology Officer
Phil collected three biology degrees before admitting the thing he actually enjoyed was writing the software. Two decades at the intersection of science and code since: Inpharmatica in 2001, then Pfizer, Thomson Reuters IP & Science, and a decade at SciBite as Head of Engineering focused on named entity recognition and search.
Given a race car at a company away day, Phil crashed it. He has since confined himself to a beaten up 1996 Defender, which is mercifully incapable of going fast.
Chief Executive Officer
Lee has a PhD in genetics but made his long term home at the intersection of biology & IT. He held senior leadership positions at Pfizer and helped drive major infrastructure projects in data and knowledge management, target identification and scientific discovery. He has helped lead the adoption of data standards across industry and academia, collaborating with many high profile institutions and pre-competitive organisations.
Lee founded SciBite, a hugely successful semantics/AI company, and continues to believe the foundation of technology is beautifully organised data.
